Dr. Eugenia Walsh
Hello and welcome to Walsh Dental Care! I grew up in the Washington, DC area and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996. In 2001, I received a DDS degree from Columbia University in New York City and joined the US Navy. I completed a General Practice Residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and served in Atsugi, Japan and Washington Navy Yard. After fulfilling my military commitment I accepted a position as a general dentist in a group practice in Southern Maryland.
As a Washington, DC area native I was excited to have the opportunity to open Walsh Dental Care in Lorton, VA in the fall of 2009. My goal is to provide exceptional dental care to people of all ages in a professional, caring and fun environment. I take time with my patients to educate them about preventive care, explain their treatment options, and help them make informed decisions about their oral health needs.
I'm proud to be an Invisalign Diamond Plus provider. This means our office is in the Top 1% of all general dentist offices in the entire United States. In addition to being an Invisalign provider, I teach other dentists how to improve their Invisalign skills as a faculty member of Molis Coaching, the premier Invisalign training program for general dentists.
I'm a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Additionally, I annually attend continuing education courses to keep current with the latest advances in dentistry.
When I'm not working, I like to travel and spend time with my husband Ben and two boys, Aaron and Liam.
